Funny Stories!

So the other day in human geo we got to hear all of these funny stories of Mr. Schick when he was young. I thought they were pretty funny. There was one where there was this green guy and he and his friend would toss it around when the teacher wasn’t looking and one time they were tossing it, it went right into the teacher’s cup of tea. I don’t think you were a very good kid when you were younger. Otherwise that was what we did the whole class. We shared funny stories about each other and did nothing else the whole class. It was a fun class that day. I hope its okay that I turned this in today because you check the blogs on Sunday mornings so I waited to do it today. Thank you and hope you had a great Thanksgiving because I did!

Forgot my Laptop!

So today was sort of an interesting human geo class. Well first off I was in a rush to get in the car today and I forgot my laptop at home. Today we had to use our computers which was a disappointment because I had to look at someone else’s computer the whole time. It was okay though we did group work so I just sat with my group. We all had to say what our emails were so we would get emailed the power point.  I thought it was a really fun class today though. We didn’t do much, but it was still fun. It was better than last Friday’s class because last Friday we didn’t do anything. It’s okay though not every class is fun, but not every class is boring. Tomorrow we will probably do the same thing and get in our groups again. That was pretty much our human geo class today.

                                          Games !!
Yestersay in Human  Geography  our teacher wasnt't there so we had a substitute. What we were supposed to do was play a game that was put on his blog. I forget the name of the game, but I really didn't understand it. I didn't really get what the point of it was, but that's okay it was sort of fun. I pretty much just played the fishing part of the game the whole time. That was the best part of the game and the only part I really understood. Otherwise I didn't get what the point of the game was. That was pretty much what we did the whole class and I think we were supposed to do some of that worksheet we got, but I don't know our substitute didn't mention doing that so I pretty much played the game the whole time. So that was our class im human geography on Friday.

                                                      Worksheets and Vending Machines
Today in Human Geography, well in the beginning I asked to go buy something out of the vending machine because I didn’t get to eat at lunch because I had forgotten my lunch. So I walked upstairs and I bought something and I walked back downstairs to the classroom and apparently my class did something to it while I was gone. I was a little bit scared. Then we just talked about the tests and some videos we had watched. Like naming a couple Did You Know? And Shift Happens. I don’t know if they were together, but we have watched a couple of videos. Otherwise we didn’t do much today we just kind of talked about human geography topics. Also again we went over our test and we also answered a few questions from a worksheet, but we only got to two of the questions because we started talking about other topics. That was what our class was like today.

Today in Human Geography we got our tests back that we took on the world leaders. I didn’t do as well as I thought I did, but then again there were some that I couldn’t find so I had to guess on them. I thought I had just done a lot better, but I guess I didn’t. The thing is, is that we got to use our blogs on that test and yet I still didn’t do well. I’ll do better on the next one though and I am going to study really hard because I want to get at least get an A on one test before the quarter ends! I am also happy because I got 3 extra points on the test because one of the answers that was marked wrong was wright so therefore, I moved my grade up a couple of points. I was really happy about that.

Test!!

Today in class we took a test. I thought it was unfair to tell us the day before about it, but then I realized why he did that. He did that because we were allowed to use our blogs on the test! I think I did pretty well except for on a few. I didn’t really finish, I did though, but I had to fill in random answers because I was told that if I didn’t write something down for them they would be marked wrong. I wonder what is going to happen if I did mark it down and it’s wrong. The ones that I didn’t get to answer was the ones about the countries on the last two pages. Those were the ones I didn’t get. There was also another one on the back of the first page because I couldn’t find the answer. I really hope I did okay on it though.

Leaders

Well the past couple of days we have been going over the leaders, about them, and there backgrounds. Then today we finally finished it only to realize that we have a test tomorrow. I wish I would have been able to know in advance when the test would be because there is a lot of facts about each person and we have to memorize that all tonight. Not everyone checks your blog so you need to tell us. Plus everyone has some others tests and quizzes that they have for tomorrow. Tell us in advance because I don’t check your blog every day and I need to know that stuff so I can study in advance. Memorizing this stuff all tonight is going to be really hard and it’s not fair. I also have other homework and another quiz tomorrow. I just really hope I can pass this test tomorrow.

Religions

Today in class we got our tests back on the religions. I did okay, but then I got three extra points because there was a wrong answer on the sheet so when they put it in the machine to grade it they marked it wrong. That then moved my grade up to a B and I am really happy about that. I then moved my whole grade up to a B. Also we just did a blog so that will also help me move my grade up. I am starting off much better than I did last trimester. In the end of class we went over the blogs we had to do the other night. We had 12 states and we had to find what kind of government they have and there leader. We then had to get a picture of the leader. I thought it was a really easy way to get points and it was for 60 points. That is pretty good for a blog.

Test!!

Today in Human Geography we took a test. We were supposed to have the test last Friday, but we couldn’t because class was shorter because of an assembly. I thought it was pretty easy. It was the same questions we had, had on our last quiz. The hardest part of the test was the end where we had to match up what went with the religion. There was a bunch of facts and the five religions were up at the top with a letter next to them, and the fact that matched which ever religion you would put that number next to that question. There were some things that I didn’t know, which are probably the ones that I had gotten wrong. Those questions were the ones that I think got me the grade I got. I did ok on the test, but I could have of don’t better. In the end of class we then started a new chapter and started a new power point.

No Test Today!

Today we had a mass and all the classes were shortened. We were supposed to be taking a test today, but since all the classes were shorter we didn’t have time. Our test was on cultural geography and the religions. Such as Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Buddhism. Why we didn’t take the test was because we were reviewing things for the test. We were going over the facts that were going to be on the tests about the religions. The facts were like how many people follow the religion, the leaders of it, and were most people are that follow it. Christianity has the biggest amount of followers and Judaism has the least. Christianity has 2.2 billion people and second is Islam who has 1.5 people following it. Then we have Hinduism in third, Buddhism in fourth, and the last one is Judaism. We are now having the test on Monday, and I am going to study this weekend, and I am going to pass this test.
